The Conqueror represents a true confluence of watchmaking, artistry, functionality and ingenuity. Featuring a genuine meteorite dial, the Conqueror Swiss Made Automatic is truly a piece of watchmaking as a bookmark into the history of the Universe.
Each dial fashioned from the Muonionalusta meteorite is one of a kind and believed to be over a billion years old. Discovered in 1906, the meteorite is believed to have landed on earth over a million years ago.
Besides the origin of this incredible extraterrestrial, space borne material, the watch is also a testament to the sheer skill, precision and time taken to fashion each dial used.
Skillful lapidarists employ science, art and craftsmanship to create a stunning one of a kind naturally captivating lattice work of light and texture.
The dial is set with a bold but not over powering network of highly luminous circular hour indexes index which harmonize with the meteorite underneath.
Strong hour and minute hands again provide legibility and clarity of readout while being perfectly proportioned with the shape and size of the watch.
A scratch resistant sapphire lens sits atop the solid stainless steel case. The case measures 47mm in diameter but sits comfortably snug on the wrist thanks to a genuine Italian hand made and hand finished strap affixed with the iconic submarine shaped tang buckle.
Powering the watch is a Selitta SW200 Automatic self - winding movement, customized and visible through the exhibition see through caseback.
Each timepiece, masterfully Swiss Made to the highest watchmaking standards is part of a limited edition production of 200 pieces and is a unique signature piece in the Ballast collection.
